I recently found out that there was another singaporean studying here. It's kind of cool to finally realise you're not alone..ok well I was never really alone but I mean being the only Singaporean is not exactly the funnest thing ever..then today i found out there's another guy from singapore too..enoch is really setting the trend sia!notice my slow degradation from capital letters for the beginning of sentences and i's to this state of typing now..haha, really doing justice to my university education. so i'm in a bit of a fix, do i go back to singapore next year and do 4 months internship in some biomed thing, or do i stay here for a year and just work all the way thru...what to do what to do. also i got rejected by a company for the first time, sadness all la..really the virgin experience, i dunno how to cope la!!my friend has tickets to the barber of seville..should i go watch it?it'd be interesting i think..so many decisions to make..bleah.. enoch pissed here at 14:40 yesterday in my science and technology in our society class i learnt some very interesting things. did you know there's this virtual world called second life where you create avatars and then do shit in this world..like virtual living and all that jazz..and then there's a whole financial system where you can buy virtual currency with physical currency..and buy virtual houses?and condos..etcetc..like what?!?!?!?!?! in the last 24 hours, 1.6MILLION US dollars have been spent on this nonsense.quite a lot of bullshit if you ask me..on a side note, some guy apparently designed, copyrighted AND patented...wait for it.......wait for it....virtual genatalia! yes i said it! also i went to this barber shop near my house..because it was near my house and it was my first time there..and the freaking idiot screwed my hair up..i am really damn one kind upset la..seriously..wah lau eh!!! i think really must stay at home for 2 weeks without leaving and all that already la...hong gan! siannnnnnnn enoch pissed here at 13:39 school sucks ass..3rd year engineering is like the giant turd that exits my butthole,it hurts coming out and then it smells bad..other than that i guess i can't complain about life. grocery shopping has never been easier, walk out of my house cross the road, shop, cross the road go home and unpack..voila!on a more sober note, the weather has definitely got colder,it hit sub zero this week and walking to school..not so fun anymore..and when i wake up in the morning, i just want to curl up into the warm space on my bed and go back to sleep but that infernal alarm song just keeps going and going and going and going..wah lan eh! monday and tuesday were possibly the most wasted days of my school year thus far, there was prison break, 2hour season premiere of heroes how i met your mother and the big bang theory on, so i spent my entire evening watching that..quite the enjoyable time i must say. then tuesday there was greek and house, then today is the season premiere of knight rider, and then dexter starts on sunday..omg omg omgomgomgomg..my life is over..ok so i have a lot of inappropriate stories so this post has become boring again..bleah. enoch pissed here at 12:18 It's been a while!so here's the thing..i've recently come to the realization that drinking is bad for you..haha..ok..not so recently.anyway drinking alcohol in excessive amounts leads to this thing called the hangover which doesn't sound like much but when you actually have it, is quite possibly the worst feeling.....EVER.despite this, myself and others like me continually put ourselves into this state of..shall we say, temporary incapacitation. for myself,i always say..mann..i'm never drinking again, however after sufficient recovery time has elapsed i always find myself in the same situation. well, so what is the problem?it's not as if alcohol tastes good..hence the sweet martinis the awesome yummy magaritas and who can forget, the basic one shot of something topped off with a mixer.i think the thing is, a balance needs to be struck.on one hand, being buzzed is exciting and helps to lower social barriers.on the other hand, the physical pain is sometimes very upsetting. thus i have come to a conclusion. which is, you live with the consequences of your choices, you can get drunk and suffer after, or not get drunk,still have fun and not suffer at all..sounds easy doesn't it..I think not!simply because...it's not.i can't explain it, it's just a phenomena that alcohol producers around the world pray will never disappear.i guess in the end it's all about self control..and of course plenty of self induced vomitting and lots and lots of water handy..and of course a barf bag, or bin. and food..and according to a friend of mine...gatorade..i dunno guys...someone try it and tell me how that goes..ok there's a little ramble for whoever bothers to read it..i know i wouldn't..hah! anyway, i've moved into a new house, it's really sweet, i have a cosy little room at the back of the house, nice bed nice location..my room mates are alright guys, they're not dirty and they clean up so thats good. school on the other hand...has a boot up my arse. tuesdays and thursdays officially suck..i have 4.5 hours of lectures from 8 to 1230 then a frigging 5 hour break, followed by another 1.5 hour lecture..what the hell..but you gotta deal with this kind of nonsense scheduling..so damn stupid!!!bleah..but it's ok..i have my friends and i have God, so all will be well.. enoch pissed here at 12:16 Rachael asked me to tell her a story..so i decided to tell you one that is probably going to be pretty awesome. Our tale begins on a cold, blustery saturday morn when one brave and gallant knight, yours truly embarked on a journey of epic proportions. on the way i decided to feed myself so i put on the bbq and threw on a couple of steaks..  well ok fine..so it was more like an entire cow..but whatever..a knight has to eat after all..And so the trek across the cruel and unforgiving ice covered wasteland..  ok so you see, it was really pretty cold..trekking my way past waterfalls of fury, and down cliffs of destruction..  See, i don't lie..it was a real challenge that one. anyway on to greater things..so i finally reached the evil monsters lair because which epic tale of greatness is complete without a monster and it's lair.  there you go,great athleticism and agility shown!OWN!..and of course there and then i met the foul evil creatures who were holding the "maidens?????" captive..dirty things you!anyway a display of sheer courage and brilliance occurred..indeed if you had been there i'm sure you would agree.  take that evil wolf thing you!! a taste of your own medicine mister black bear!!HAIYAH!and so with that..the day was saved! however..the "maidens???" not say very fair la..as can be seen when i take them home in my awesome 4 wheeled chariot which was really much more of a babe than them =) sorry guys..it's true..  and they all lived happily ever afterThe End (check out the cool italicized the end.) so we come to the end of the story that will ring forever through the ages..for more retarded photos of me go check my facebook..it takes way too long to upload pics onto blogger..blarggh enoch pissed here at 13:37 i also know people are going to make comments about that being my weight..so to clear the air.....IT IS!!ORRHHHH no one expected that right..too good!! enoch pissed here at 12:14 210!!! 15 more pounds to 100KG!!total ownage! enoch pissed here at 11:39 There're a couple of things I've come to realise after living in Calgary for a while. Similarities with Singapore: 1) Weather reports are not to be trusted..ever 2) Too many hmm...how shall we say...mainlainders? =) 3) Feeling like puking after eating too much to be continued.... Differences from Singapore: 1) Tony Romas All-you-can-eat ribs Tuesdays...yeaahhh.. 2) More angmohs than chinese 3) Lack of the singlish language..bad bad! i'll add more when i can remember and when i don't feel like exploding.. Enoch pissed here at 13:57 i saw the northern lights today...only a little bit too cool la.. enoch pissed here at 00:56 ok so funny story..ok wait 2 funny stories!!hahaha.. 1) i'm in the gym doing squats as usual..and i start to squat and i hear a RIIPPPPP...so i'm like..oh shiiiittt...then instantly stand up and touch my butt cheeks..wah damn heng..nothing torn..then i think for a second and then i put my hands into my pants to feel my butt again and the entire back is ripped in 2!!hahaha..i think i almost died. =) but nvm la..at least still inside my gym shorts so then i continue doing gym..and it's so cooling..esp around my butt cheeks. =) 2) So i walk into my thermodynamics class a little late and i sit down with my good buddy kevin.and we're just talking and then my prof, dr clarke takes his blackboard duster and says..erm well does anyone want to help me remove this...and i turn to look and "this" is actually a red phallic object that i think has been glued to the corner of the table!hahahahaha..omg..this time i really died la..=) then he tries to push it off with the duster but it's stuck right..so he's like eww..and cringes and then says..oh no then goes to wash the duster...and the...well dildo is like just jiggling on the corner of the table...i seriously just died laughing..HAHAH!..ok end of stories. enoch pissed here at 11:50 |
